Center Thomas Frazee posted on his twitter account he will play for the Komets this season.
  • Next great local hockey star?
Karch Bachman is on track to a professional career in hockey. Possibly one in the NHL. It'll be fun to follow his development.
  • A possible new Komet
No official word yet, but I'm hearing that the Komets may be completing a deal with Thomas Frazee, who had 24 goals and 47 points in 60 games last season with Quad City of the CHL.

A new player, a tie

After missing on an early breakaway, Matt Syroczynski scored off a rebound to tie it at 1 between the Komets and the Evansville IceMen at Memorial Coliseum.

They have outshot the IceMen 13-7.

Jeff Deslauriers gave up his worst goal since joining the Komets, though, when a backhand shot from the blue line eluded him.

The Komets' new player is J.P. Labardo, a rookie, who had 55 goals and 128 points over five Ontario Hockey League seasons with Guelph and Erie. He had 24 goals and 62 points in 67 games this season.
