For the first time since late January, the Komets have won back-to-back games.
Led by two goals and an assist from Matt Syroczynski, the Komets defeated the Evansville IceMen 8-5 on Sunday at Memorial Coliseum.
Defenseman Nick Schaus added three assists for the Komets, who outshot the IceMen 50-34.
It was a season-high in scoring for the Komets, whose playoff hopes are barely alive with six games remaining in the regular season.
