Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne’s Department of Engineering, in the College of Engineering, Technology and Computer Science, is sponsoring its 10th annual Opportunity Banquet from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Walb Student Union Ballroom. The banquet and its accompanying career fair provide the opportunity for engineering students and local businesses to network and discuss possible employment.

The career fair is followed by the keynote presentation and then dinner. “Ford: Accelerating Ahead” will be presented by Susan Leone with Ford Motor Co. in Detroit.

Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne will have a Career Services Reverse Career Fair from 2 to 5 pm. March 28 in the Walb Union Ballroom. The Reverse Career Fair is for student leaders who are part of IPFW-affiliated groups and employers looking for students who stand out. Student leaders will set up booths and employers will approach the tables. There is be no fee for employers to participate.

Doermer School of Business at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne will host the 2013 Doermer Dialogue with Business Leaders from 7:30 to 11 a.m. April 12 in the Auer Performance Hall of the Rhinehart Music Center. This year’s theme is “Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship.”

Pre-registration is required at and will remain open up to and including the day of the event. IPFW students who register and have a valid student ID will be admitted free; tickets for others are $50.

Northeast Indiana Career Enrichment is having a Career Fair from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. April 11 in the Athletics Center Fieldhouse on the campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.

Organizers expect to have at least 80 employers and 170 recruiters at the event, which will feature job openings with local and national employers with full- and part-time positions as well as internships. For more, go to
