First Presbyterian Church of Van Wert, 300 S. Washington St., Van Wert, Ohio, is having rehearsals for the choir’s spring concert, “Sing On! Dance On!” from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the sanctuary. The performance is at 7 p.m. May 5.

Concordia Theological Seminary, 6600 N. Clinton St., is having “The Seven Words of Christ” at 4 p.m. Sunday at Kramer Chapel, sung by the Seminary Schola Cantorum.

Warsaw Community Church, 2300 Ranch Road, Warsaw, will perform “Fish-Eyes: The Play” at 7 p.m. Friday in the church auditorium. Tickets are free and available at www.

Auburn First United Methodist Church, 1203 E. Seventh St., is hosting pastor Jonathan Pennington of Cedar Lake Church of Brethren as part of the church’s Men’s Lenten Breakfast Series. The breakfast is at 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Grace College and Seminary, 200 Seminary Drive, Winona Lake, is hosting Gordon Nickel, who will give a talk, “A Christian Response to Global Islam,” at 7 p.m. Friday in Westminster Hall. He will also address students during the 10:30 a.m. chapel hour Friday.

Anthony Wayne First Church of God, 6012 South Bend Drive, is having a rummage and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and a $3 bag sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.

Special Mass

The Most Rev. Kevin Rhoades, bishop of the Fort Wayne-South Bend Diocese, will conduct a special Mass at 5 p.m Monday to offer thanksgiving for the new pope and to pray for his ministry. The Mass will be at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 1122 S. Clinton St.
