Lottery thieves hit 12 gas stations

Police in northeast Indiana are looking for a pair of thieves who have been burglarizing gas stations and stealing the scratch-off lottery ticket displays.

The Allen County Sheriff's Department distributed photos Friday of one of the suspects in hopes that someone might recognize him.

The sheriff's department said the two have hit a dozen gas stations in northeast Indiana, cashing in winner tickets at another gas station.

A white Dodge Stratus is believed to be involved, the sheriff's department said. Stations in Allen, LaGrange, Madison, Steuben and Wabash counties have been struck.
