So far, so good

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Komets' power play is suddenly OK. It has scored in back-to-back games, on back-to-back power plays, and it has a 1-0 lead over the Kalamazoo Wings.

Thomas Beauregard scored by coming out of the right corner, switching to his backhand, and shooting high.

By the way, Shane Albrahani declined to discuss what he's doing calling the game on WOWO with Bob Chase, who is in his 60th season. Team president Michel Franke also didn't say anything. I'm guessing that Chase might not do all the games next season and they are grooming Albrahani, who calls high school games, has been the team's longtime videographer and, once upon a time, had a radio show with yours truly.
