No whispering, please

Acting like teenagers sometimes do, Buck, a 13-year-old horse, got away from his home near the Hopp Hollow subdivision in Alton, Ill., on Tuesday. People started calling Alton Police with sightings of the horse's walk around the west side of town shortly after he got loose. Animal Control officers Brad Northway, left, and Steve Bosaw caught up with Buck more than a mile from where he lives. The veteran animal control officers have caught quite a variety of animals over the years but they knew Buck, their first ever horse, would not fit in their truck. Buck's owner came and took the teenager home.
