    The IPFW women’s volleyball was picked to finish second in the Summit League preseason poll of the league’s head coaches. The Mastodons received 53 points. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own teams.

Men, women golfers 5th

The IPFW men's and women's golf teams are in fifth place in the Bulldog Florida Invitational, a tournament hosted by Butler.

Led by Bruno Carvalho's 78, the IPFW men have a 330 first-round score. Alabama State leads with 308.

Alyssa Turney and Sydney Bailey had 88s to lead the women's team, which shot a 366 total. Butler leads with 323.
