Albion teen killed in SUV crash in Noble

A 17-year-old Albion boy was killed Saturday night in a single-vehicle crash in Noble County.

The sheriff’s department was called at 6:10 p.m. about the crash on Wolf Lake Road between Baseline Road and County Road 100 North.

Kaleb R. Luce was driving a Ford Explorer northeast on Wolf Lake Road. For an unknown reason, he went off the southeast side of the road, overcorrected, went off the northwest side and struck an embankment causing the vehicle to overturn. He was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Luce was the only person in the vehicle.
