IU slips in polls

Indiana led four Big Ten teams ranked in the top 10 of the Associated Press Top 25 and USA Today coaches polls, even though the Hoosiers did slip a spot in both polls.

Indiana (26-5) fell from No. 2 to No. 3 in both polls even after rebounding from their home loss to Ohio State on Tuesday to defeat Michigan on the road Sunday and claim the outright Big Ten title.

Gonzaga remained No. 1 in the polls, receiving 54 first-place votes in the AP poll and 29 first-place votes in the coaches poll. Duke was No. 2 in both polls, collecting the other 11 first-place AP votes and two first-place votes in the coaches poll.

Indiana was joined in the top 10 of the AP poll by No. 6 Michigan, No. 8 Michigan State and No. 10 Ohio State. And by the same schools in the top 10 of the coaches poll with Michigan State coming in at No. 7, Michigan at No. 8 and Ohio State at No. 9.

Also in both polls from the Big Ten is Wisconsin, which is No. 22 in the AP poll and No. 23 in the coaches poll.
