Ants trail at half

Bakersfield scored the last five points of the half to take a 53-49 halftime lead over the Mad Ants at Memorial Coliseum on Sunday.

Bakersfield guard Jerel McNeal hit a three-pointer with 3.5 seconds, which pushed McNeal's first-half scoring total to 21 points.

Tony Mitchell leads the Ants with 13 points, and Anthony Richardson has 12.
