Ants fall to Bakersfield in overtime

Bakersfield guard Jerel McNeal scored 42 points to lead the Jam to a 109-102 overtime win over the Mad Ants on Sunday at Memorial Coliseum.

The Ants (19-20) had a chance to win the game in regulation, but Ron Howard's 21-foot shot near the buzzer missed.

Tony Mitchell led the Ants with 23 points, while Anthony Richardson added 15.
