K's getting dominated

The Florida Everblades scored on three of their first nine shots and they lead the Komets 3-0 after one period at Memorial Coliseum. They got goals from Matthew Pistilli, Tyson Gimblett and Danick Gauthier.

And, really, it wasn't even that close.

The Everblades have two power-play goals.

Probably the more interesting news is that Komets captain Colin Chaulk isn't playing. He strained his groin in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Everblades at the Coliseum.
