Indiana junior guard Victor Oladipo and sophomore forward Cody Zeller were named finalists for the John R. Wooden Award, given to the nation's player of the year, on Saturday.
Oladipo and Zeller are among the 15 finalists for the award. The winner of the Wooden Award will be announced during the NCAA tournament's Final Four and the 10-player Wooden All-American team will be announced April 1.
Indiana was one of two schools to place two players on the final ballot. Kansas freshman guard Ben McLemore and senior center Jeff Withey were the other two teammates.
Ohio State junior forward Deshaun Thomas, a Bishop Luers graduate, and Duke senior forward Mason Plumlee, a Warsaw native, are also on the final ballot.
