Bluffton plans DWI crackdown

The Bluffton Police Department is warning drivers not to drink and drive during the March Madness and St. Patrick’s Day season.

Beginning Friday, the department will begin a “high-visibility crackdown on impaired and dangerous driving,” according to a statement issued by the department.

A number of Indiana law enforcement agencies also are taking part in the initiative known as “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over,” which gets under way this weekend.

The effort will continue through March 24.
