Area players, coaches for North all-stars

A dozen players and two coaches from northeast Indiana will be on the North team for the annual North-South All-Star high school football game July 19 at Indianapolis North Central.

On offense are Snider's Ruben Holcomb and Addison Dellinger, North Side's Anthony Linnear and Russell Collins, Homestead's Nolan McMahon, Heritage's Conner Sheehan, Churubusco's Jason Nicodemus, Garrett's Drake Landes, Huntington North's Austin Garde and Wawasee's Chad Eppley.

On defense are Bishop Luers' Danny Beckman and Concordia's Marq Rogers.

Snider's Kurt Tippmann and Garrett's Chad Sutton will serve as assistant coaches.

Players were chosen from all 10 of the Indiana Football Coaches Association regions and all five classes. No school can have more than two players on the team.

Also, some of top players in the state may already be enrolled or committed to their colleges and will not be able to play in this game.

Positions for the North team will not be assigned until July 15.
