Grain futures, beef prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures fell Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery fell 22.25 cents to $6.8375 a bushel; May corn fell 20.50 cents to $6.8850 a bushel; May oats fell 4.5 cents to $3.8425 a bushel; while May soybeans slipped 0.50 cent to $14.66 a bushel.

Beef prices fell, while pork prices were flat on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle fell 0.82 cent to $1.2880 a pound; April feeder cattle fell 1.35 cent to $1.4225 a pound; April lean hogs were flat at 79.25 cents a pound.
