Drug raid nets pot, suspected dealer

Wittwer

A 65-year-old Spencerville man wanted for dealing drugs was caught with more than 2 ounces of marijuana early Monday, according to the Indiana State Police.

Troopers went to Curtis Wittwer’s home about midnight to arrest him on a federal warrant for dealing marijuana. In the home, the troopers found drug paraphernalia and could smell burnt marijuana, police said.

A search of the home yielded more than 2 ounces of marijuana, police said.

Wittwer was arrested and booked into the Allen County Jail on the federal warrant. He was held without bail.
