    The D-League will hold its annual national tryouts June 15 in New York. The one-day event will see 200 hopefuls in full-court games in front of team executives, coaches and scouts.
  • Howard, Smith work at Development League camp
    Mad Ants guard Ron Howard and center Tommy Smith accepted invitations to the NBA Development League Elite Mini Camp, which started Monday and runs through Tuesday in Chicago.
  • Record year for D-League
    It wasn't only the Mad Ants that made 2012-13 their best season; the rest of the NBA Development League had a record-setting year, as well.

Ants hammering Canton

In what might have been one of the more dominating quarters in recent memory, the Mad Ants outscored Canton 36-12 in the second quarter to take a 70-41 lead over the Charge on Tuesday at Memorial Coliseum.

The Ants (18-19) are 25 of 47 from the field, 14 of 18 from the free throw line, have outrebounded Canton 23-16 and have seven steals.

Tony Mitchell has 19 points, while Ron Howard has 17 points and nine assists.

Luke Harangody, making his first return to the lineup since Feb. 8, has 12 points, and Anthony Richardson has 11.
