President Obama hugs Jessica Jackson, granddaughter of the Rev. Jesse Jackson, after the unveiling a statue of civil-rights pioneer Rosa Parks at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday. Parks, who refused to give up her seat on a bus to a white man on Dec. 1, 1955, in Montgomery, Ala., became the first black woman to be depicted in a full-length statue in Statuary Hall.
