Nick's Kitchen's sugar pie up for award

The Indianapolis Star is looking for the best sugar pie in Hoosierland. It has chosen 16 pies throughout the state as part of its Indy A-List, and voters choose their favorites, bracket-style.

Nick's Kitchen (506 N. Jefferson St., Huntington) is one of the nominees for the state's best sugar pie, along with a variety of spots in Indianapolis and other small towns like Lebanon and Muncie.

The Indy A-List features more than 5,000 Hoosier businesses, vying to be voted the state's best in a variety of topics.

The first round of voting closes Friday.
