Input sought on Democrat convention

Indiana Democrats are looking for a few good opinions on where the 2014 state convention should be held.

Last year it was moved out of Indianapolis for the first time, and Fort Wayne hosted the gig. Many people loved the accommodations though some complained of long drive times.

The state party sent out an email Wednesday asking people to vote on where the next convention should be. The options are Evansville, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Lake County, South Bend or Terre Haute.

"Last year, we hosted the Indiana Democratic Party State Convention in Fort Wayne -- and it was a huge success! As we plan for the 2014 convention, we want to get your input on host locations. Please cast your vote for the city or part of the state where you'd like to attend next year's convention. We want to make sure everyone has a say as we move forward!"
