Not sure what there is to talk about mightbite...?

Komets won a game in OT that they should have won in regulation; but besides that, a lot of the same problems still persist that we have discussed here for months...

Plus, it was a weekday game and most had to get home and turn in for work tomorrow...

A few things that made this game more than just an OT win. The team actually scored 5 goals which is so much better than recent games.

The OT itself hasn't happened much so while a regulation win is preferred..we did get some extra hockey excitement especially since we got the win.

A win at home!!!!! Sounds simple enough but we know it has not simple for this team.

A side note, this was our second win in a row against Toledo.

I'm sure there are plenty of things to point out as flaws..but a night or two of positive observations is nice once in awhile.

Oh, JR..I do agree that allowing Toledo to tie it up shouldn't have happened, but it was nice to see the komets' keep playing their game each time the score would be evened up...no getting flustered and frantic.. Just played their game until they got the win.

Sorry; but I am not going to get all geeked up when I continue to see our top players take huge and sometimes borderline hits without retribution....

I would love to see what our skill guys could do with a little more room out there on the ice. Right now, they have to always feel like they are trapped in a phone booth because their team mates who are supposed to create space by hitting, agitating, and sticking up for them are not doing their jobs (or are not being allowed to...). Not too many guys are going to score when their backsides are always on the ice...

Don't blame you for not getting all geeked up. If my comment about the positive aspects of that game sounded geeked...than ooops. I have said many times that the issue with not sticking up for teammates is a shame. I do believe that will be the new norm for any Komets team. management is wanting to have this squeaky clean hockey atmosphere and to me u can see that the players and coach are hiding their true thoughts on things and giving generic answers. Maybe I am way off base but I really think this is the Frankes choice...or they would have demanded and made changes until the issue was resolved.
I hope I'm wrong and this will not be an issue next season. It just drains the emotion and natural energy from the team and fans.
