Harangody out

As feared/expected, the Mad Ants (16-18) will be without leading scorer and rebounder Luke Harangody when they play Erie (19-15) at Memorial Coliseum tonight.

Harangody, the 6-foot-8 forward, has been sidelined with a knee injury that has kept him out of action for the past three games - now four.

The former Notre Dame standout leads the Ants with 20.1 points per game, and 12.3 rebounds.

The Ants are four games behind East Division leader Canton, which holds a one-game lead over Erie. Fort Wayne is 2 1/2 games behind Tulsa in the chase for the eighth and final D-League playoff spot.

Steve Warden blogs all things Mad Ants.
