15 released from hospital after school bus crash

KNOX, Ind. – Police in northern Indiana’s Starke County said 15 children and two adults were taken to the hospital after a flatbed truck collided with a school bus.

WSBT-TV reported (http://bit.ly/X6wdFG ) that Indiana University Health Starke Hospital said the 15 children were released to their parents Monday. The hospital said the two adults also were examined. Police in Knox said none of the injuries were serious.

The collision occurred at an intersection shortly after 8:30 a.m. Fort Wayne time.

The school bus serves children in the Head Start program in Starke and Marshall counties.
