3 Hoosiers to join state Hall of Fame

Three former Indiana football players will be inducted into the state of Indiana Football Hall of Fame.

Mark and Mike Deal along with Randy Beisler will join the Hall on May 5.

Mark Deal is currently an assistant athletic director for alumni relations with the IU football program. He played for the Hoosiers from 1975-78, was a graduate assistant at IU in 1979 and helped coach the Hoosiers from 1996-99.

Mike Deal played for the Hoosiers from 1966-69. He was a member of IU's 1967 Big Ten championship and Rose Bowl team, and he was a graduate assistant in 1970.

Beisler played for IU from 1962-65. He was a first-round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles and played nine seasons with the Eagles and San Francisco 49ers.
