The Komets had 23 shots on goal in the first period at Memorial Coliseum. That's the most allowed by the Wheeling Nailers this season.

The Komets allowed only two shots, and that's a season low for their defense.

But the game is scoreless.

By the way, that is the same Jordy Trottier cut by the Komets during the 2011 training camp.
