Gibson here, just in case

Just in case Frank Gaines breaks the career scoring record at IPFW tonight against Bowling Green, the current record-holder, Sean Gibson, is in the house to celebrate the moment.

Gaines, the 6-foot-3 senior forward, needs 19 points tonight to surpass Gibson's record of 1,765 from 1989-93.

Bowling Green (11-15) has won four of its last six games, including an 87-56 pounding of New Orleans its last time out.

IPFW (13-16) enters on a three-game winning streak.
