South Side, Warsaw pregame

On a neutral court, South Side is probably a big favorite in its Class 4A semistate matchup against Warsaw on Saturday.

At home, the Tigers might be the team to beat with an 11-0 home record this year.

The IHSAA gave Warsaw a semistate this year, and there the Tigers are playing the Archers in a game that will decide the northern team in the 4A state championship game next week in Terre Haute.

South Side (23-3) is the talented SAC champion, while Warsaw (24-1) has gotten it done this year on team chemistry and clutch late plays.

There is some familiarity as Warsaw's Lindsay Baker and South Side's Ariana Simmons, Brittni Clopton and DeJoyah Johnson all play on the same AAU team, the Spiece GymRats 2013 team.
