Zeller, Hulls earn academic honors

Indiana's Cody Zeller and Jordan Hulls were named to the Capital One Academic All-America team Thursday.

Zeller, a 7-foot sophomore, was named to the first team, and Hulls, a 6-foot senior, was named to the third team. They are the 10th and 11th IU players to earn spots on the academic teams, and they are first to do it since Luke Recker in 1999.

Zeller has a 3.44 GPA and is a business major. Hulls, who earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science in May, is a graduate student and has a 3.49 GPA in athletic administration.
