Generals pull away from Cavs

– Wayne outscored Canterbury by 14 points in the fourth quarter en route to a 68-62 win at home Tuesday.

The Generals’ advantage was 33-19 in the final period.

Jescus Mitchell had 22 points, while twin brother Justin Mitchell added 18. Marlon Fincher chipped in with 15 points.

For Canterbury, Trent VanHorn had 30 points and Chase Moyle 11.

NEW HAVEN 63, BLUFFTON 48: The host Bulldogs got 16 points from V.J. Beachem and 15 from Jabar Ray.

Steve McElvene had 12 points and Jordan Hogue 10 for New Haven.

Michael Pearson led Bluffton with 19 points.

ADAMS CENTRAL 62, BLACKHAWK CHRISTIAN 54: Dalton Combs scored 22 points to lead the host Jets.

Isaac Luginbill added 12 points for AC. Riley Reimschisel led the Braves with 20 points.

Adams Central outscored Blackhawk Christian 43-35 in the second half.

DEKALB 53, LAKELAND 42: Adison Daub had 10 points and Austin Macy added 18 for the host Barons.

Cole Hartman had 10 points for the Barons, who hit 16 of 24 from the free-throw line.

ANGOLA 28, EAST NOBLE 27: The host Hornets won a low-scoring game.

Craig Nofziger led Angola with eight points, while Houston Pattee had nine for East Noble.

WESTVIEW 64, FREMONT 46: The visiting Eagles got 26 points from Tyler Jenkins but lost to the Warriors.

Alex Beams added 11 points for Fremont.
