Man who fired gun, fled police charged

A Fort Wayne man arrested last week for firing a gun in the air and then fleeing police was formally charged Wednesday.Curtis L.Today 3:00 am

A Heal the Land service will be conducted at 12:15 p.m. Saturday where the body of Nathaniel Jishaun Rainer was found Feb. 11.

The prayer service has been set for the empty lot near the intersection of Smith and Emily streets, where the 18-year-old’s body was discovered.

His death was the fourth homicide of 2013 in Fort Wayne and Allen County.
