Huntertown residents face deadline

Huntertown residents have a deadline of midnight Tuesday to submit written comments on the town’s plan to send effluent flushed from its drinking water filters at the water filtration plant into nearby Geller Ditch.

Currently, the effluent is sent to Fort Wayne City Utilities for processing.

Deliver or mail all letters to IDEM, Office of Water Quality, c/o Nicole Gardner, 100 N. Senate Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46204 or email ngardner@idem.in.gov.

Requests should reference Permit IN0064076 and include the name and address of the person making the request, the interest of the person making the request, persons represented by the person making the request, the reason for the request and the issues proposed for consideration at the hearing.
