Surprise! Chaulk is back

Well, this will be a nice surprise for the huge crowd tonight at Memorial Coliseum: Komets captain Colin Chaulk is expected to be in the lineup.

He missed the last 32 games because of a shoulder injury and then a foot infection.

The Komets could sure use him.

Brent Henley will be the scratch, since the Komets can play only four veterans.

Also, Marco Cousineau is out, so Larkin Saalfrank is the backup to Charlie Effinger.

Evansville, by the way, is on a 1-4-1 slide (the lone victory coming against Fort Wayne) and the IceMen have won two of their last 11.

Fort Wayne has lost 5 of 7.
