SOUTH BEND – The University of Notre Dame is raising tuition nearly 4 percent for undergraduates for a fourth straight year.

The school said this week the cost of tuition for the 2013-14 academic year will be nearly $45,000. With average room and board rates of $12,500, total student charges will average more than $57,000.
