Clarification
A June 5 brief on Parkview Comprehensive Cancer Center receiving the 2012 Outstanding Achievement Award from the American College of Surgeons on Page 8B should have made it clear that cancer programs are accredited once every three years.June 11, 2013

Correction

Because of a reporting error, a Feb. 2 Metro section story misstated the time frame for U.S. military spending increases cited by Rep. Marlin Stutzman, R-3rd. The story should have reported that Stutzman said military spending has risen from $260 billion a year to nearly $650 billion since 2001.
