Man, 28, accused of child molesting

A Fort Wayne man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old girl after plying her with marijuana and alcohol.

On Oct. 8, city police received a report that Jessie L. Johnston, 28, had molested the girl three weeks earlier, according to court papers.

The girl told investigators that she and Johnston had sex two times. They smoked marijuana, which he provided, before both encounters, and before the second, he also gave her an alcoholic drink, court papers said.

Johnston, of the 900 block of Home Avenue, was charged Monday with three felony counts of child molesting and two misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He had not been arrested.
