The elderly couple told police they had been duped out of thousands of dollars and that their Social Security checks were diverted to Georgia, which gave detectives their first real clue.The Adams County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help to find a man with a felony warrant.
Wade R. Crone, 26, is wanted on a charge of criminal confinement. Authorities believe he is carrying handguns and is a threat to law enforcement and the public, the sheriff’s department said.
Crone is 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds. He has blond hair, blue eyes and a tattoo on the left side of his neck. Anyone who knows his whereabouts is asked to call the Adams County Sheriff’s Department at 724-5345 or Adams County Crime Stoppers at 692-2882.
