Men's volleyball team in Muncie on Wednesday

IPFW men's volleyball coach Arnie Ball returns to his alma mater on Wednesday when his Mastodons visit Ball State for a 7:30 p.m. match.

Ball's troops (4-3, 1-1 MIVA) could have their hands full against the Cardinals.

Ball State won its first eight matches of the season before losing 3-0 to Grand Canyon last week. In the MIVA, the Cardinals are 3-1.

The two teams split their home-and-home series last year. Ball State won 3-0 in Muncie, and IPFW won 3-1 at the Gates Center.

Steve Warden blogs all things IPFW.
