Voting in Cleveland area to decide art projects

CLEVELAND (AP) — Two new art or cultural projects in Cleveland will be decided by online and mail voting by residents of Cuyahoga County.

Voting began Feb. 1 and continues by mail until Feb. 15 and until Feb. 20 online for funding by the tax-supported Cuyahoga Arts and Culture organization.

The two winners to be selected from among six nominated projects will get grants of up to $150,000 each. The winning projects will be mounted over the next year and a half.

The nominees include outdoor art and street festivals, multi-media installations and a documentary on bullying.
