Raid yields drugs, guns, 1 arrest

Fort Wayne narcotics officers raided a south-side home Friday and arrested an alleged drug dealer.

An investigation into marijuana sales at 2433 Lafayette St. led police to search the home, and they discovered two guns, scales for weighing drugs and “a large amount” of cocaine and marijuana, police said. The exact amounts were not disclosed.

Zestolavant Cook was arrested on initial felony charges of cocaine possession, maintaining a common nuisance, marijuana possession, dealing marijuana within 1,000 feet of a public park and four counts of dealing marijuana. He also had violated his probation on a charge of marijuana possession, police said.

Cook, 34, was held without bail at the Allen County Jail.
