AT&T Indiana President George S. Fleetwood said the company was excited to have found two great programs to invest in: The Fort Wayne Urban League and Indiana Tech’s Career Readiness Program.
The Urban League will use its $10,000 grant for the Standard-Based Academic Assistance program and its National Achievers Society project, Urban League President Jonathan Ray said.
Mark Richter, Indiana Tech vice president of institutional advancement, said the $15,000 grant will be seed money for the Career Readiness Program, which will help college students with interviewing, résumés, job searching and networking skills.
Though the program will be run by Indiana Tech, Richter said it will be open to all university students in the area, whatever institution they attend.
