Can they bring this style and intensity tomorrow night, and the next game, and the next game......and so on?
When will Brent Henley return to playing like a man who is 6-7 260 or whatever the heck he is??? Wheeler and Hegarty are throwing out the Defensive punishment and both are half King Kong's size.
Bob Chase's meltdown on America One was Klassic. Lots of GDs, BSs, POeds, and so on. Nice language potty mouth. And this is the guy that lectures fans all over Minor League hockey about not saying "you suck???"
Oh well.....LOL
Great Game...Dunbar is becoming my favorite player.....Wheeler had one of the best hippers I have seen in years. Marino is a stud. 95% of the team played well tonight.
That game was a Battle. Fun to watch.

Yet, according to some, we should let Wheeler go back to Dayton in favor of Milam...
Chase's meltdown was the stuff legends are made of. Oh wait, he already is a legend.
Marino is a bahhhhhhhhhh-d man.

once again Henley was on the ice for the majority of Colorados goals. He is lazy and a liability this year more so than in previous years.I watch him stand around pointing at other defensemen to cover players instead of taking the initiative himself! Why cant we trade him for somebody who can help this team? would like to know if i am the only fan who thinks this way.I want to like him,but i cant!

Let me be clear on one thing with Henley...I was the leader of his Band last season telling everyone I could that he was the best D-Man in AA Hockey as he was the best D-Man bar-none in the CHL last season. Several people agreed with that assessment, too.
But this season is a totally different player. This one is much like what Komet Fanatic described. I don't understand it either. How did Brent go from Physical, Defensive, Mean, Determined, Smart, Strong, Aggressive, and Protective to this guy who is none of the above. I hate to call him out, because I am a huge fan of the CHL Henley.
If Henley can find his MOJO....this team would be so much better IMO. His former self is what this team needs and needs badly.
What gives?

I totally agree with hitsomebody.very eloquently put,I wish we had the "Old" Henley back. I dont want to call him out but he is better than what he is showing us this year, and this year,s team cannot afford to carry someone of his considerable capabilities if he does not want to be here. So unless i see a change in his playing attitude,eg hitting ,checking and clearing the puck to one of our players instwad of rocketing it down the ice for an icing,i say trade him

I agree with hitsomebody, and komet fanantic. The K's better be prepared for a war tonight, the eagles are gonna bring all they got, elbows, dirty hitting, and hopefully Chasegot a new pair of glasses and does not have another meltdown!!

If Henley is this horrible player who was on the ice for most of the goals, how come his +/- was 0? That is the same as Nycholat, Dunbar, Smith and Schrock. Beauregard was a -1. Could it be that 4 of the 5 goals were power plays and one was a 3 on 5. I am not saying Henley is playing great or anything but for goodness sakes he still can play the game of hockey.

let's see, tonight, Henley penalty results in a goal, third period penalty and abuse of official according to Chase, Henley did not back-up any players, Klotz did, henley got skated around, iced the puck again tonight. Whole team played aweful with the exception of Eff
