Gaines honored

IPFW senior Frank Gaines was named Summit League co-Player of the Week for men's basketball.

Gaines tied a career scoring high with 32 points in a loss to Omaha. He also had nine rebounds. His 11 field goals were a career best, and he was 10 of 12 from the free throw line.

Gaines shared the honor with Oakland's Drew Valentine, who scored 14 points and had 16 rebounds against Omaha.
