Cool......the K's can really use Milam's blistering slap shot on the power play.

This means only one of two things:

Either Chalk is not coming back as a player this season, or...

Tyler Butler is going to be released as soon as Chaulk hits the ice.

Or just taken advantage of the reserve spot and release Wheeler so he can go back to Dayton.

I don't see them releasing Butler. I think they will evaluate when Chaulk gets back and then probably shuffle vets. I think they're OK on salary with Auger off the books, Thorne gone and few players down from a norfolk. They might be able to swing it.

Y2K....no offense, but if there would have been a middle finger button option under your comment, I would have selected that one.

Wheeler has been Awesome since being here, and is no worse than being one of our top 2 or 3 D-Men currently. Small stature....Huge Walnuts....This kid hits everything, and plays something that most of the team refuses to play.....DEFENSE.

Oh, and he can move the puck and score some too.

Ok, I feel better now.

I agree with Hit (except the middle finger part ). Wheeler is the type of Komet we were hoping to see earlier this season, and takes advantage of every shift. I'm really impressed with the call-ups we got. Thank you, NHL (not really).

Good series ahead that will show what this team is made of.

I am not as confident about Wheeler. He was responsible for one of the K'zoo goals Friday night and did not look that good overall.

and I don't know if having Henley back is good news or bad news.

I don't think getting Henley back is good news.

While you might be correct abour Wheeler, Diamond Head, I think the same could be said for almost every Komet Friday night. Many of them were responsible for one (or more) of the many goals given up Friday night!

We need to trade Henley for a forward with some goal scoring ability.(at least make the effort)
Mags will most likely be back solving our temporary d-man shortage.
Any thoughts?

My point is vets: If they have too many the question is who to cut. Tyler has 10 points, so does Henley. Tyler is a minus 6, Henley is a plus 4. Heley is getting called up to AHL, but not Tyler.

They aren't cutting Smith or Chaulk (if he is healthy)and they're bringing Milam back to create the problem.

So.. either Chaulk stays on IR or someone's got to go. It looks like that someone is Tyler.
