And now for today's adventure in DVR rage, aka, "Really? You're going to jail over the Golden Gophers?"

We're all used to fan craziness these days -- seriously, you should see some of the e-mails I get -- but this raises fan craziness to a level far beyond the power of mere mortals to access it. Threatening to shoot someone because you've recorded a game, and the someone in question is playing a radio sports talk show loudly enough for you to hear the hosts discussing the score?

And then you (allegedly) throw a knife? Seriously?

Good thing this clown didn't have a gun, not to get into that whole debate. But it does stir a couple of observations:

1. This is probably not the first time someone's been incited to violence by sports talk radio.

2. Really? You're going to jail over the Golden Gophers?
