Filling in

Unfortunately for The Journal Gazette, LaMond Pope has left the paper for a new career opportunity.

While the paper searches for LaMond's replacement, I will temporarily handle the coverage of Indiana and Purdue athletics for The Journal Gazette.

It is no easy task following LaMond on these two beats, but I will try to deliver the quality reporting on these beats that readers of The Journal Gazette of become accustomed to while I handle the duties of these two beats.

Thank you everyone for reading, and I'm looking forward to covering IU and Purdue in the short term.
