Key matchup: Two of the top D-League prospects will go at it when Harangody faces Jones, the 6-foot-8, 260-pound forward who played at West Virginia. Jones is back in Canton after having played 15 games with the Charge’s NBA affiliate, Cleveland. Jones and Harangody, the 6-8, 240-pound forward who played at Notre Dame and was named the D-League Player of the Month for January, are two of the most-watched players by NBA scouts.

The skinny: The Ants are coming off a 115-109 home win over Maine on Thursday night. With the Red Claws and Canton tied for first in the East Division, the Ants are 3 1/2 games out of first place. … Fort Wayne will be without point guard Ron Howard, who was put on injured reserve while he recovers from a knee injury. Backup point guard Anthony Harris filled in Thursday with 17 assists. … Center Mile Plumlee was recalled from the Ants to the Indiana Pacers.
