Mastodons fall in MIVA opener

IPFW’s men’s volleyball team opened the MIVA portion of its schedule Friday at the Gates Center with a 3-1 loss to Lindenwood (1-3, 1-2).

The Mastodons (3-3, 0-1) were able to capture the second set, 28-26.

They lost the first set 25-14, the third, 25-18, and the final set, 27-25.

Junior Eddie Rivera led IPFW with 15 kills, and Andy Sellan had 12 kills.

The Mastodons face Quincy at 7 p.m. today at the Gates Center.
