City ponds still not skate-ready

– The skating ponds at Lakeside, East Swinney, Franke and Ivan Lebamoff Reservoir parks will remain closed to skaters this weekend, as only about 1 inch of ice has formed on the ponds since temperatures dropped this week.

Red lights and flags at the ponds will indicate that conditions are not safe.

For reliable outdoor skating, visit the Headwaters Park rink during public skating hours.
