With more than 15 inches of precipitation so far this year, there’s no doubt this spring will bring out swarms of mosquitoes, experts say.FORT WAYNE – The skating ponds at Lakeside, East Swinney, Franke and Ivan Lebamoff Reservoir parks will remain closed to skaters this weekend, as only about 1 inch of ice has formed on the ponds since temperatures dropped this week.
Red lights and flags at the ponds will indicate that conditions are not safe.
